About The Greatest Generations Foundation
Most of the men and women who fought in World War II have never been back. Decades ago, they followed orders and put their lives on the line. They saw adventure as well as horrors, and left many friends behind. Those who survived came home. They built lives and families and careers.
Many are now facing their final journey.
The Greatest Generations Foundation wants to make sure they don’t leave without the chance to visit that chapter in their histories. Without walking once again on the beaches of Normandy or the island of Iwo Jima. Without feeling some closure and peace. The Greatest Generations Foundation wants to make sure they have a chance to tell their stories. Their stories are, after all, about a defining episode in our history and the history of the world. They are stories that can and should be preserved.
The Greatest Generations Foundation is an IRS 501(C)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization dedicated to serving war veterans. Our mission is to promote recognition and respect for U.S. and allied war veterans while enhancing historical education for today’s youth. The Greatest Generations Foundation (TGGF) works to make sure that the dedication and bravery or these veterans is never forgotten, nor that the value of their deeds be allowed to disappear into history.
